Painter's Tape ... Take IV

Happy Tuesday!

Not much to report today.  It's been a full week of movies, bowling, parks and playdates.  I tell ya, this summer break is relly cutting into my crafting time *lol*.  I had Technique Class last week and have slowly been chipping away at making the extra templates.  Today's card is CASEd from one of my ladies who attended class - thanks Corina!  I love what you came up with!

We did the Painter's Technique (my new all-time favorite technique!!!).  The ladies had an option of making this card:
... or this card ...
Corina's husband loves hunting and so she combined the two and came up with this:
Love it!!  She used the color scheme from the masculine card (Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip on Whisper White card stock) with the stamp set from the first card - Wetlands - and came up with a great masculine birthday card.

Have you tried this technique yet?  It really is fun ... and easy ... and you just can't go wrong with it!  There is no rhyme or reason to it ... you just splotch the colors wherever you feel like it ... and it turns out great (and different!) every time!  I can't wait to try this technique with some of my new Christmas toys that just arrived (from the new holiday mini that goes *live* August 1st).  Stay tuned for those in the near future!  Until then ... have a stampy night!
