Christmas Notecard Fun

Happy Saturday!

Well ... another night of not sleeping.  I got tire of lying in bed with 1,000 things running through my head so figured I'd get up and get at 'em!  I have SOOOO many posts to share!  I seem to be some sort of crafting Ninja this week!!  It's been very good for my soul to spend so much time being creative!!  It really is amazing how the more you create the easier it is!  When I'm away from it for a week or two I really struggle.  Not this week!  Top tip ... don't be afraid to "waste" paper!  I often hesitate to stamp on a card base or layer in case I "screw it up".  Don't wanna waste paper, now do we??  Seriously?  I have 7 packs of Whisper White paper ... I think it's ok to throw the odd "yuck" one away!  Just jump in!  Have a pile of pre-cut layers beside you and just start stamping.  Grab an ink color you're drawn to and get that image on paper ... and go from there.

Check out the three versions of a quick note card I made in a matter of minutes ...

I knew I wanted to use Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler ... but didn't know how ... so I just kept grabbing stamp sets (retired and new) and got to it!  I like them all but, when I asked "my people" which one they liked best the favorite by FAR was "the camel one".

I liked that one too .... but it didn't have a star ... and it needed a star!

The camel image is from the retired set Come to Bethlehem.  The sentiment is from the retired set The Sounding Joy.   I found the PERFECT star to add in the NEW set Night in Bethlehem.
NAILED it!!

I LOVE how it turned out.  Let the mass-production begin!

As I mentioned, I have soooooo many cards to share!  If you can't wait to see them pop over to Facebook and search for me at Tamara's Paper Trail.  "Like" and "Get Notifications" and you'll be in the loop whenever I pot a new project!

Coffee.  More coffee.

Have yourself a lovely, stampy day!

Tam
