Tamara's Paper Trail: Easy Front Flap (Fun Fold) Layout

Happy Wednesday! I'm a day behind schedule this week but have managed to chip away at many larger items on my "yay list" so I'll call that a win!

Did you manage to pop in to MCM this week? I showed you how to make a Front Flap Fun Fold card in minutes. The REAL fun is in the decorating. That, too, is quick and easy. Having said that, you CAN add more embellishments and/or dies cuts if the mood strikes but it isn't necessary for a lovely card! These are the projects I shared ...

I REALLY love this one "in person". I wanted to play with some yet-to-be-used products so I dug out my package of All Season Velvet. Did you know you can emboss it? True story! The photo doesn't show it well but I used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder on this one. Festive Friends set for Frosty and long Time No See for the sentiment pulled this one together in no time! (I coloured him with my retired Mint Macaron Blends).

I've been enjoying making a "masculine" project with my MCM layouts lately. The Sunrise Sailing bundle is a GREAT option for those. I paired it with the Beautiful Gallery paper and sentiment from Simply Said ...

This one is my "stepped up" version. I used the Delicate Pines Bundle and embossed the white velvet sheet with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder. Mossy Meadow/Gold 1/4 trim and Traditional Sparkling Sequins finish it off nicely.

This last one is the one that inspired me. I made it a few years ago. I still love it! I used Night of Navy card stock and ink, (now retired) Snowflake 12" x 12" Specialty Vellum, Iridescent Snowflakes, Joyful Flurry bundle and Adhesive Backed Sequins and Gems. LOVE!
