Make 4 cards in about half an hour! MCM Layout Nov 24, 2025
Happy Wednesday! Well ... hopefully for YOU ... I'm sick as a dog so not particularly happy but ...
Did you get a chance to watch MCM this week? As often happens, I was running behind and needed a quick layout. I rummaged through my Tickle Trunk of cards and found one of my favourites for quick, easy mass-producable ones. The perfect beauty of this is that it works with absolutely ANY of our Designer Papers. ANY! Cut it to 3" x 3" (so you get 4 cards out of a 6" x 6" piece of DSP), mat it, add a sentiment and DONE! As always, you can "step it up but adding layers and/or texture. Easy as 1, 2, 3 ... as shown here ...
1. BASIC! No embossing and minimal embellishing ...
2. Emboss the 3 3/4" x 5" layer ...
3. Add die cuts ...
These are the four cards I made Monday night ... all "medium" level ...
Instead of embossing the back layer for this one, I used more DSP ... Wildly Flowering. The sentiment is from the new Banner Sayings Bundle (set & punch) and Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots ...
Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, sentiment from the Kit "Calm & Bright" and the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder ...
SO crazy quick and easy ... yet so lovely! ANY paper ... ANY sentiment - DONE!
If you want to make some cards using this layout, use this "recipe" for the pieces you need to prep ...
Here is the Mystery Card Monday (MCM) Facebook Live replay, showing you how to cut the papers and put all the pieces together ...
