Well Happy Tuesday!!!
You'll be happy to know I spent 2 hours yesterday getting one step closer to posting some actual project! (*** insert slow clap from the audience here). I know, I know - I keep promising them ... it really IS a huge time commitment to do it "right" - so hang in there - they ARE in the works. In faaaaaaaactttt - I have one to share today! Yep - true story! Yes, I have about 20 other posts I planned to post first buuuuuuut Stampin' Up! threw out a challenge to us Demonstrators to create a card using at least two of four specified punches and post it for a chance to win a free stamp set. Well of COURSE you all know "free is my favourite" so I made a card this afternoon and now I'm posting it. Fingers crossed I win a set :)
Ready? Here ya go!
Can you figure out which two punches I used? Well I'll tell ya! The white "circles" along the left edge are actually made using the Sweetheart punch. The little butterflies are made with the Hearts Border punch. See? Don't have butterfly punches or farmelits? No worries! Always more than one way to skin a cat, as the saying goes ( ... but I know my friend Melissa had never heard that phrase and was shocked anyone would ever DO such a thing so now I say "more than one way to pluck a chicken" *lol*).
For the rest of the card deets - I used Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock. Blackberry Bliss ink and a new set "Awesomely Artisitc" (page 125 of the new catty). LOVE this set and can't wait to play with it more! I used my white gel pen for a pop of white in the centre of the flowers (but you have to be careful not to go over the Blackberry Ink - it turns the white gel pink instead of white!). I added some rhinestones for a little bling. Oh! I stamped the dragonfly on whisper white paper and popped it up on dimensionals. Yes, I cut it out old-school ... with scissors *lol*. To get a nice border around it I came up with a brilliant idea - I dug out the rubber that the stamps came on (for the clear and wood sets) and I traced the dragonfly that I had stamped using the rubber punched out piece. Worked great! The sentiment is embossed with Winter White embossing powder.
That's it! Half an hour later I had my creation. Wish me luck ... and have a stampy day!

Wanna Save A Few Hundred Dollars???
Well hello there!
Are you like me? Do you get excited when a blog you follow FINALLY posts something new? *lol* I know, I know. I've said it before, I'll say it again - if you wanna be in the loop follow me on my business Facebook page - FB is WAY less time consuming and I post projects over there far more often! Get into Facebook and search for Tamara's Paper Trail. Yes, you can always pop back here to see if I've posted … kind of a "Russian Roulette" of blogs *lol*
So - now that I've gotten your hopes up for a new project I'm going to dash them - no project this post (yes, I still have about 20 projects and/or videos in pending …). No today I wanted to do a quick "Yes, I'm still alive" post and to let you all know about the latest and best Kit offering from Stampin' Up. Yes it's been available for 2 weeks already - but yes, it also ENDS in less than two weeks. Figure I should share the deets while I can!!!!
So! Most of you know the drill. Buy The Kit - shop for $155 in ANY products you want but only pay $125. Well … at the moment The Kit is a LOT sweeter than usual as you ALSO get to pick TWO stamp sets of ANY VALUE!! Check this out!
Can you see that? For those of us with ageing eyes maybe not … but the red bottom line is visible!!! If I ordered these products "the usual" way it would cost $323.40. If they are ordered through The Kit they would cost $125. Exact same products. Kit vs No Kit.
Bit of a no-brainer, isn't it??
I picked some of my favourite items from the new catalogue. Seriously - these punches and sets are THE BOMB … and you save $198.40. Of course this is just an example using products I like. If YOU order The Kit YOU get to pick the items YOU want. YES - ANY!!! They can be all punches, all Big Shot dies, all ink pads, all stamp sets .. WHATEVER you want or need! YOU create what is in The Kit!
With a brand new catalogue full of great new products I urge you to take advantage of this deal. While "free is my favourite", this is the next best thing!
Pop in again … I'm running out of things to procrastinate with so I just might start blogging again! Pop in again and find out *lol*. Unil then …. have a stampy day!

Ribbon Share - 1" Dotted Trim Lace
Happy Wednesday!
Just a quick one, as I SHOULD be getting the girls up for school!!
I've been sitting here drooling over all the new products in the 2015-2016 catalogue and realized I hadn't yet shared my annual "Ribbon Share" with you! … well, I did so yesterday on my Facebook page but not here. Still not following me on Facebook? I've said it before, I'll say it again - you keep much more up to date over there than here as blogging is a LOT more time consuming than my FB posts. Head over to Facebook and search for "Tamara's Paper Trail" - "like" it, "follow" it and "get notifications" to stay in the loop! I'm pretty sure you don't have to have a FB account to check me out … but not sure …
ANYWAY …. watch this video on the ribbon I'm sharing ...
Isn;t it delicious! You can touch it in person this Friday if you pop over for my Open House! Here are the details of my "share" ...
