Who doesn't love a shaker card???!!! EVERYONE likes them! .... but, if you're like me, you find them a little overwhelming to MAKE! Well THIS shaker card is a bit of a game changer! I seriously whipped this up in a matter of minutes. Check it out:
SO cute, SO quick and SO easy!

Isn't it FUN??? Here's another one I made. Same layout, different products:
SO cute!
For the "Confetti" card I used the "Pattern Play" stamp set.
Card Base is Calypso Coral. I used a layer of 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" and ran it through the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.
Whisper White top layer is 4" x 2 1/2"
The Pattern Play paper layer is 4 1/3" x 3"
The Whisper White layer is 5" x 3 3/4"
I used "Sequins for Everything" in the shaker
For the "Reindeer" card I used the "Warm & Toasty" stamp set
Card Base is Cherry Cobbler
The Designer Paper is from Classic Christmas
All the dimensions are the same as above.
I used "Snowflake Sequins" in the shaker.
A full list of the supplies I used for the Confetti card are listed at the end of this post. Clicking on the pictures will take you to my online store.
I hope you like my projects! I challenge you to make one - they are rather addicting!
That's it for today. Thanks for popping in and have a stampy day!
Look at ME blogging on a non-blog hop day! THAT hasn't happened in a while!
I want to pop in quickly to post a YouTube Video for you. The Curvy Christmas Card I posted earlier this week for Kylie's Maui Achievers Blog Hop was VERY popular so I made a quick video showing just how easy it is to pull together. Check it out! ... and while you're over on YouTube I would be ever so grateful if you would subscribe to my channel! My goal this year is to hit 1,000 subcribers so I can start doing LIVE YouTube videos for you. Thanks in advance! ... I hope you enjoy my video.
Every month talented Demonstrators from around the globe bring you projects they have created using current Stampin' Up! supplies. We hope you like what we have created this month!
For MY submission this month, I used products from the newly released "Curvy Christmas" stamp set and coordinating "Curvy Dies" dies. These products are available in the upcoming January 2021 Catalogue ... but they are on early release right now! Canadians can check out the details and the prices at the end of this post. Here is my card:
I just LOVE the clean, monochromatic look of it!
I started with a standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Whisper White card base. I added a layer of Classic Christmas Designer Paper measuring 5" x 3 3/4", and popped that up on dimensionals.
I took a piece of Whisper White measuring 4" x 3 1/4" and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Curvy dies twice. The first pass I angled the die so it was approximately 1 1/2" down from the top on the left hand side and approximately 2 3/4" from the top on the right hand side.
I ran it through the machine a second time, angling the die approximately 1 1/2" from the bottom on the left hand side and just a HAIR above the bottom right hand corner.
These passes through the die cutting machine will leave you with the three pieces that make up the front of the card.
I used Sahara Sand ink to stamp the images, as well as the sentiment, and popped all three pieces up on dimensionals.
I added some pearls and a bow, made from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
Quick, clean, classic Christmas card. Love it!
Thanks for checking it out. Now hop along and check out what my friends have come up with ... and have a stampy day!
This week the Crafty Blog Hop Crew are bringing you projects featuring the Tag Buffet Kit of products. I'm Tamara Bertram, coming to you from snowy Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
My project is VERY simple and is PERFECT for newer crafters who want lovely Christmas cards but either don't have many crafting supplies or much time. I simply took the tags and attached them to card bases! Check them out!
Does it GET any easier than that?? The only additional supplies I needed (other than the kit, the stamp set and the two ink colours, Real Red and Shaded Spruce) were card bases, envelopes and dimensionals! In about two hours you have 30 cards ready to go. SO EASY!
Hop along to the links below to see what my friends have prepared for you.
Happy Blog Hop Day! Today's hop is part of the Crafty Blog Hops group of Demonstrators from all over the world. This time we are bringing you projects that we ALL seem to struggle with - MASCULINE! WHY do we struggle so much??? They SHOULD be easy! According to my husband, no bling, no buttons, no ribbon, no layers ... so REALLY just stamping Happy Birthday on a card base should do it! lol ... ya, right! Any self respecting card-maker CAN'T leave it at that! (Mostly because we need to justify all those bling, button, ribbon and paper purchases we made, am I right?? lol)
This one was SO fun for me to make. Yes, I struggle with "Masculine" too but last week I needed to make a birthday card for my Dad, who turned 82. It seems when I have a particular person in MIND for my cards they come together really easily. Dad is always easy to create for. He like golf, fishing, wildlife and a good bottle of Whiskey! 🥃 NO problem finding ALL of those items in my stash! I settled on "Whiskey Business" from our Annual Catalogue. Here's what I came up with ...
I LOVE it! It's not terribly obvious from the picture that the card isn't your standard fold - it has a mini card on top ... like this ...
Fun, right??
This picture shows all the layers and dimension ...
... and this one shows off the gorgeous (or should I say "handsome"??) antique corner that is part of the "World of Good Suite". I just LOVE it!
Let look at the card front again and break it down ...
Early Espresso Card "base" - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Card Base layer - World of Good DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Early Espresso "Mini Card" base - 8 1/2" x 3", scored at 4 1/4"
Mini card layer - World of Good DSP - 4" x 3"
Early Espresso Stitched Rectangle layer - 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Top Very Vanilla layer - 3 1/4" x 2"
Very Vanilla piece for sentiment -2 1/4" x 1"
Inside Vanilla layer 4" x 3"
Attach the large DSP layer to the base
Fold the Espresso Mini Card in half and attach to the base.
Attache the small DSP layer to the Mini Card
Stamp the bottle in Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla layer. Use Light Crumb Cake Blend to colour the shaded areas of the bottle and to shade under the bottle, to ground it.
Attach the Very Vanilla layer to the Stitched Rectangle layer
Attached the stitched Rectangle layer to the mini card using dimensionals
Colour the liquid with your Ivory Blend Marker
Stamp two of the glass images, fussy cut with your paper snips. Colour as above, using Light Crumb Cake and Ivory.
Stamp the lemon twist and fussy cut. Colour it with your Light So Saffron Blend Marker.
Attached the glasses with glue dots and/or Stampin' Seal. Attach the lemon twist with multipurpose Adhesive Glue
Attached the Antique Corner with Glue Dots
Attached the Very Vanilla layer to the inside of the mini card. Decorate the inside as desired.
Sounds complicated but, once you have all the layers cut it's really easy!
My full list of products used are at the bottom of this post. If you are in Canada, click on any of the images and you will be taken to my store, should you wish to purchase them.
I hope you like my projects - my Dad sure did!
Now hop along and see what my friends have for you in the "Masculine" theme. Thanks for popping in, have a stampy day!
