Happy Blog Hop Day!
Each month my Demonstrator Friends bring you projects we've created using Stampin' Up! products. We hope we can inspire and delight you with what we share. We love getting feedback, so please don't hesitate to leave comments as you hop along!
This month I was inspired by a card I made back in the fall, for my brother's birthday. An amazing musician, I just HAD to make him a special "musical" card. I used the Rugged Icon dies, paired with the Merry Melody 3-D Embossing Folder and (a hidden gem) "Lovely Layers Vellum". This is that original card:
It's a quick, clean layout that I LOVE ... so I thought I'd CASE (crafting lingo for "copy") myself and switch the elements up using new products from our current Mini Jan-May 2023 catalogue. This is what I came up with:So fun! I wonder if he'll recognize that the layout is the same. I somehow doubt it lol.
For THIS card I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. The stamp set is the new "Enjoy the Rhythm" from the J-M Mini Catalogue. I ran a strip of Crumb Cake through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake card stock 5 times and used my paper snips to cut them apart. Some of the "happy"s are glued down and some are popped up on dimensionals for a little added interest. The FABULOUS Enamel Dot Essentials finish it off. Actually, now that I have the dots on my desk I REALLY want to make this card again but using some Night of Navy accents too!
So there you have it - my CASE of my own card. I LOVE using layouts over and over and just switching out the images, papers and embellishments. It makes creating SO much faster! I hope you like it!
Hop along to see what my friends have made for you. Thanks for popping by!
