Eat Cake Bundle - Let Me Show You How it works - Dec 1, 2025

Happy Tuesday! It's "all systems GO!" around here today. It's December ... and the "yay-list" is looooooong! I THOUGHT I was sliding into December fairly calmly but I find I'm a wee bit stressed today when I see the mountain of things to be done! So, one-thing-at-a-time, as I start chipping away at things. Only 21 days until my brother shows up and the REAL holidays begin :)

I've mentioned a few times, over the last few weeks, that I wanted to switch my MCM (Mystery Card Monday) up for a while and provide more "Let Me Show You How"s. I haven't had time to STAMP over the last few months and I miss it! Traditionally, MCM are more "add designer paper and a sentiment" layout for quick and easy. I needed to ink up some of the MANY stamp sets I have bought but not yet opened! Last night I was THRILLED to play with a set I bought months ago - Cake Day. I CASE'd (copied) a card right of the Stampin' Up! online store. Here is the card I made ...

It took me about 15 minutes to figure out what all the dies did ... and even what some of the stamps were! ... but I got there in the end. Aside from the splotch boo boo bottom left (that I tried to cover up with a faceted star), I really like how it turned out! Yes, I will absolutely play more with this set this week!

Several viewers commented that "it's not for me" (about this bundle) ... and that's TOTALLY fine! The goal of my show isn't to convince anyone of anything. It's just about me adding ink to some stamps and teaching you how to make a particular card. Some bundles may be great - others may not be. We'll find out together! This one is a thumbs up from me .. now that I know how to use it! lol.
