Let Me Show You How ... to make a Santa Belly Treat Box
Happy Sunday! I hope you're staying cozy and warm today. I am! Here in Edmonton it RAINED all evening and then SNOWED overnight. Ya. I'm not leaving the house today. I can PROMISE you I'd end up doing a not-so-graceful lip-stand if I even TRIED to get in my car lol. Thanks, but I'll stay right where I am, catching up on my blog posts and watching movies with my sick mini-me!
Last Monday night I showed you how easy it is to make these OH-so-cute little Santa boxes!
Alicia wanted to give her co-workers some Christmas sweets and these were the perfect way to package them! I got the Salted Caramels as Costco. The Riesen Chocolates are from London Drugs.
*I used our old retired square punches - 1 3/4" and 1" for the belt buckle. You can use square dies of similar sizes, or just use your paper trimmer to cut your gold paper.
They are so fun to make! *Top Tip: A hot glue gun is a MUST if you want these to be done before Easter lol. Glimmer/glitter paper does NOT like to accept liquid glue, tear & tape or adhesive. Hot Glue. Just trust me!
Here is the Facebook Live replay, showing you how to cut the papers, punch the elements and put all the pieces together. Watch it for a few tips and tricks on making the belt buckle and on how to keep the boxes closed.
