USE that Pretty Paper ... perfect for this EASY Z-Fold Fun Fold Card - MCM Layout Sept 28, 2026

Happy Tuesday!  Things are moving fast over here, as I'm heading to Italy in just over a week.  EEEEEEeeeee!!!!  So much I want to do before I leave!  I'm hoping there is "just enough" time pressure to keep me focused and moving forward and not paralyzed with overwhelm.  Wish me luck!

First thing on my "yay-list" is this blog post.  I wanted to get it out in a timely manner as it has been VERY popular on my YouTube Channel.  As such I like to have a "landing spot" for people looking for written instructions.  Here we go!

I drew inspiration from Patti Bolan over at P.S. Paper Crafts and her Four Panel Accordion Fun Fold card.  That's how I started, anyway. I tried to simplify it a bit and ended up with a Z-Fold Card instead lol.  Look at ME reinventing the wheel!  I love how the projects turned out, even if I DID think I made an Accordion Fold card lol.  These are my cards ....

This one is SO easy and really leans into the Alpine Winter Paper doing all the heavy lifting!  I paired it with the Winter Adventures Bundle for the die cuts and sentiment.  I sued Mossy Meadow card stock and Misty Moonlight ink.  Dewdrop Embellishments and Baker's Twine finish it off nicely. ..

This one uses the pretty Sunflower Fields Designer Paper.  Cajun Craze and Golden Glow paper and ink, Spotlight on Nature Circle die cut, some retired Natural Tones Linen Thread and Radiant Gems to finish it off ...

If you want to create a card similar to mine, here is the "recipe" of pieces to prep.  This version uses a piece of patterned paper that is 6 5/8" wide ... but of course if you only have 6" x 6" paper you can make that work too.  You can either use two different pieces of paper ... cut one piece 5 1/4" tall ... and then cut the second piece 5 1/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide .... ORRRRRRR take ONE 6" x 6" piece ... cut it 5" tall and then cut the widths at 2 1/2", 2 1/2" and 1".  Use what you have and make it work!  Here are the pieces I used for my projects ...

... and here is the MCM Live replay showing you how to put it all together ...

A Z-Fold card is seriously SUCH an easy layout that makes your card feel "fancier" .. AND helps you use up your paper stash ... especially those scenery patterns!  I hope you try this one!

That's it for this week.  If you would like to join me LIVE for my MCM (Mystery Card Monday) sessions, you can catch me on my FaceBook Page here at 7:00 pm Mountain Time every Monday ... or on my YouTube Channel here at the same time (I stream live to both).  Like and Follow my FB Page and/or Subscribe to my YouTube Channel.  I'd love to have you - the live community is AMAZING and so much fun!

If you live in Canada and would like to purchase any of the items I used for my cards, just click any of the pictures below and you will be taken to my Stampin' Up! online store.  (I apologize that not all products are shown!  When I do a blog post before the product is available for sale I can't add it to the list shown below.)  Thank you!  I appreciate your support!

Stay amazing!
