Christmas to Remember - Kylie's Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!  I'm Tamara Bertram, coming to you from her Craft Cave in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada :)

I'll preface my share by saying "pictures don't do this project justice"!  It's SO sparkly and it pops right off the page in a way that just can't be captured by the camera!

I used the Christmas to Remember Bundle of products to create this ...

It's so pretty! ... and so easy to make!

I cut the background piece from Evening Evergreen (anyone who knows me know I'm OBSESSED with this colour!).  I cut the thinner, more detailed top piece from Basic White.  Finally, I cut out three large pinecones and five small pinecones from our "Be Dazzling" Sale-a-brations paper (which is FREE in Aug and Sept with a minimum $60 CAD order!).  The pinecone shapes are cut from the "outline" dies, not the "detailed" dies.

I used my Multipurpose liquid glue to attach everything together,  Yes, in hindsight, using our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets would have been an option, but I find it a bit more work to run detailed dies through the Cut & Emboss Machine when that adhesive is on the back of the card stock (especially the glitter and foil papers).

** Tamara's Tip:  To die cut our glitter and foil papers a bit easier, peel the waxy backing off the paper.  It makes it that much thinner and easier to die cut.

Start by gluing the Evening Evergreen die cut to the Basic White base.  Glue the glitter pinecones to the Evergreen layer, then glue the Basic White layer on top of it all:

I stamped the sentiment (from the Christmas to Remember set) in Evening Evergreen, popped it up on mini dimensionals and added a Gold Shimmer Ribbon bow to finish it off (attached with a glue dot).

Quick, easy and sparkly.  Done!

Don't be intimidated by all the dies that come in this lovely bundle.  They are easy to use and your final project will pack a "WOW" punch in very little time.
