Diagonal Joy Fold - EASY FUN FOLD CARD - MCM Layout July 21, 2025

Well Hello! .... and Happy Thursday! THIS blog post is long overdue, as the last 1.5 weeks has kicked my a$$! I try to do my MCM posts on Tuesday but last week I spend Tuesday & Wednesday prepping for my BOGO/Free Shipping Days sale. Thursday and Friday were "get the stuff out the door" days .. and my class in the evening. Saturday was Costco before heading over to see Dad, as we were hosting two other couples for a BBQ and I needed supplies. After I had done a few deliveries it happened. I all of a sudden had a sore throat and I knew. I was gunna be sick. Alicia had been home from work three days that week. She, too, started with a sore throat and BOOM! Within hours she was full blown dying. Same thing with me. My friend DID still come over but I could feel the wave coming over me. Luckily they were GOOD friends, as not only did they serve themselves, they also cleaned UP! Great host I am! lol. Around 8:30 it happened. All hell broke loose and I was throwing up in the garbage can. FUN NIGHT! I've run the gamut of symptoms. Sunday and Monday were super tight chest and cracking headache. Tues and Wednesday and today I lost my voice. Chest has finally broken so now the coughing and annoying clearing of throat and runny nose. I'm a vision, I tell ya! I don't get sick often at all but when I do I'm all in! So ... needless to say I haven't been very productive in any way, shape or form. Aside from ZERO energy and an aching throat/chest (from whispering too much) I don't feel too bad so today I'm going to attempt to get a few things done. THIS was top of the list. Giddy Up!

Monday night I made these CRAZY quick and easy "Diagonal Joy Fold" cards. I'm slightly addicted because they ARE so easy, and pack a real WOW factor. Bonus that it uses lots of designer paper! I have almost used an entire pack of my current card. Unheard of for me!! I was inspired by a birthday card my friend Bea sent me. I've seen/done the fold before but I loved her card so much it inspired me to revisit it.
