Every month the Stampin' Creative global group of Demonstrators bring to you projects around a common theme, using only current Stampin' Up! projects. This month the theme is "Glitter & Glamour". This is what I came up with:
The photos don't adequately show off the glitter on those butterflies! SOOOO sparkly!
I started with a Basic White Card base (8 1/2" x 5 1/2").
I ran a layer of 5" x 3 3/4" through the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and popped it up on dimensionals.
I used the Layering Squares to cut out the Butterfly Bijou Designer paper layer.
The sentiment is in Memento Black in and from "Peaceful Moments".
I cut out all the butterflies from our Rainbow Glimmer paper using the "Brilliant Wings" dies and made the Basic Black detailed images using the same die set. I attached the black to the glimmer using our glue dots, and popped them up on dimensionals. Shout out to my downline Donna Brausen for coming up with THAT awesome idea! It REALLY pops!
Artistry Blooms Sequins finish it off.
Quick, easy and elegant! Glamorous? Sure! Why not! lol

DeleteOur rainbow glimmer paper has to be one of our most amazing products! I never tired of seeing it used in projects - goreous card!
ReplyDeleteRight? Whenever I showcase it I have at least one person ask "what is rainbow glimmer paper?" It's so often missed in the catalogue!
DeleteOoooh I love this card!!! What a great idea using the Rainbow Glitter paper for the butterflies! Genius!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pip! I was playing with the Butterfly bundle on my Live last week and one of my downline said "put the black overlay on our glitter paper". Kudos to Donna!
