Summer Dreams with Sweet as a Peach - Stampin' Creative Global Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!  Every month my friends with the Stampin' Creative Blog Hop bring you projects around a common theme.  THIS month the theme is "Summer Dreams".  We have SO many products and colours that scream summer!  Sweet Strawberry, Sweet Ice Cream, ANY of our ocean-themes products .... but the one that says summer to ME is our Sweet as a Peach Bundle of products.  Mmmmm a big, juicy, ripe peach is the EPITOME of summer to me!  Here is my project inspired by the "Summer Dreams" theme:

It's a fun, Fancy Fold card that is SO quick and easy!  It was inspired by a card I found made by Heidi Smith over at www.flutterbyheidi.co.uk, where she showed this unique side-gate-fold.  Brilliant!  A little something different than the usual "cut your card stock and fold in half" layout!

  • The base is 4 1/4" x 11", scored on the long side at 1 1/2" and again at 7".
  • The Pale Papaya card stock layer is 5" wide x 4" high ... and then you cut off 1 1/4" off the 5" wide end.  You now have a piece that is 3 3/4" wide x 4" high and a pice that is 1 1/4" wide x 4" high.
  • The Designer Paper layer is 4 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" high .. and then you cut off 1" off the 4 1/2" wide end.  You now have a piece that is 3 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" high and a piece that is 1" wide x 3 3/4" high.
  • Tape your designer papers to the Pale Papaya layers.
  • Wrap ribbon around the larger 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" layer.  I used my Light Granny Apple Green Marker to colour my White Crinkle Ribbon.
  • Attach your layers to your card base using Stampin' Seal.
  • Cut out a large shaper for your sentiment.  I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for mine and used the Biggest Wish stamp set for the sentiment.  I used Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green inks.
  • I embellished the card using a fussy cut peach from the designer paper and flowers from the Peach dies.  I attached the sentiment to the card base using dimensionals (only on the left hand side, as you need to be able to open the card!)
Bam!  Done!  Quick, easy and CUTE!  This layout is a great way to use up some of your Designer Paper stash .. so you can justify buying MORE of it, as select papers are 15% off until August 2nd!
Here are a few more card made using this same layout.  It's a good one!
So there you have it.  MY project for the "Summer Dreams" theme.  Hop on over to my friends' blogs to see what THEIR "Summer Dreams" projects look like ... and have a stampy day!

Enjoy the Moment - Kylie's Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!

Each month Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the globe bring you their projects using only current Stampin' Up! product.  We hope you get enjoyment and inspiration from them!

MY project this month was made using the Enjoy the Moment stamp set, combined with some CHRISTMAS paper!  Check it out!
Who would have thought this stamp set would work so well with the Tidings Of Christmas Designer Paper?!?  (... which just HAPPENS to be 15% until August 2nd, 2021!)

  • I started with a standard Basic White card base and Basic White layer measuring 5" x 3 3/4".  I ran that layer through the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.
  • I cut a layer of Early Espresso card stock measuring 3 3/4" x 1 3/4".
  • I cut a layer of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper measuring 3 1/2" x 1 1/2".
  • I adhered the two pieces together and popper it up on the card base using dimensionals.
  • I stamped the pod image on Basic White using Early Espresso Ink and fussy cut it with my paper snips and popped it up on dimensionals as well,
  • My Thank You comes from the Sweet Strawberry  set.  I stamped it in Early Espresso on a Basic White layer measuring 1" x 3 1/2" and flag ended them with my Banners Pick a Punch.  I attached it to the front of my card using mini dimensionals.
  • For the finishing touch I added a linen thread bow, attached with a mini glue dot.

Bam!  Done!

I came up with this layout for another one of my Mystery Card Monday Facebook Live Events.  I hold them every Monday night at 7:00 pm Mountain Time over on my "Tamara's Paper Trail" Facebook page here.  Every Monday afternoon I post a "recipe" of pieces you are to prep ahead of time and then, during the live, I walk you through how to put the pieces together.  It's always fun to see all the different cards that we come up with just by using different papers, embossing folders and stamps.  Here are a few more I made using the same layout:

It's a SUPER quick and easy layout.  Give it a go!

Now hop on over to the other blogs and see what my friends have created for you .... and have stampy day!

In Colour Inspiration - Stampin' Creative Global Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!  Each month my friends from around the world and I bring you projects around a common theme, using only current Stampin' Up! products.  We hope our projects inspire you!

This month our theme is "In Colour Inspiration".  THAT gives us lots of wiggle room for sure!  I could have shared DOZENS of projects using the NEW In Colours, not to mention the OLD In Colours! ... but I had to pick one.  This was the winner ...
Just LOOK at all the delicious layers and dimensions on this card!
I love ALL the new 2021-2022 In Colours but settled on the gorgeous Fresh Freesia.  Purple is my favourite colour.  Combined with Blackberry Bliss this colour really pops, don't you think?  I let the In Colour Designer Series 6" x 6" paper do "all the talking" on this one.  When you have pretty paper you don't NEED much else!  The Layering Circle dies created the sentiment focal point, using the Biggest Wish Stamp set.

The Designer Paper Dimensions are:
2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
2" x 4" and
1" x 4"

The mat layers are just 1/4" larger ... so the Blackberry Bliss mats measure:
2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
2 1/4" x 4 1/2" and
1 1/4" x 4 1/4"

So easy!

I LOVE this layout.  It's SO versatile!  I CASEd it from my downline, Sharon Clark, when she sent me this swap:
Switch out the papers and the sentiment and the options are endless!
Here is my "In Colour Inspiration" card again ..
Give this layout ... and the In Colour papers ... a go!  I'd love to see what you come up with!

Now hop a long to see what my friends have to share with you ... and have a stampy day!

What's Cookin'? - Kylie's - Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!  I'm Tamara Bertram, crafting to you from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Thanks for popping in!  Each month Demonstrators from around the world showcase projects using only current Stampin' Up! products.  We hope we can inspire you by sharing what we love!

This month I'm sharing a project I made using the What's Cookin' Bundle of products.  These are PERFECT for those who love cooking AND for those who have food-based businesses, such as Epicure, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Sunset Gourmet and so on.  Check out what I made!

Wouldn't this be a fun card to send to a friend with your favourite recipe inside? .. or (if you are a food rep) a thank you for a hostess who held a party for you?  The dies and In Good Taste designer paper do all the work!

The Pool Party layer was run through our Brick &Mortar 3-D Embossing Folder and measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
The Crumb Cake layer measures 4" x 2 3/4" and is popped up on dimensionals
The In Good Taste tile paper layer measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"

I cut the pizza board (I THINK that's what it is!) out of Crumb Cake card stock
I cut the whisk (LOVE IT!) out of Smoky Slate (I added some Wink of Stella to the "wire" section)
I cut the flipper out of Basic Grey card stock
I cut the spatula out of Basic White and coloured the handle with my Light Pool Party Blend
I cut two 6" pieces of our linen Bakers Twine and tied it in a bow for the finishing touch

I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso

That's it!  It comes together really quickly!  There are SO many adorable options for this bundle!  If you live in Canada and don't have a demonstrator you can purchase any of the items I used for my project through my online store.  Just click any of the product pictures below!

That's all for today.  Hop along to see what Jennifer Michalski has to share with you ... and have a stampy day!
