Christmas Tidings Simplicity - Kylie's Trip Achievers Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day! Thanks for checking me out! My friends from around the Globe have put together some projects for you, using only Stampin' Up! products. We hope they delight and inspire you!

My card this month is SO quick and easy! Check it out!

LOVE IT! It uses just a handful of products ... the star of the show being the Christmas Tidings Embossing folder. Do you have it? If not you better snag it QUICK! Some quick dimensions for you:

Basic White card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Smoky Slate layer - 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"

Basic White layer - embossed with the folder - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"

Silver/White ribbon - approx 22"

That's It, That's All! I cracked of 20 of these babies in about an hour! My kind of Christmas card (gien that it's only 5 weeks until the big day eek!)

Let Me Show You How ... to make Popcorn Snowman Treats!

Happy Thursday!

Last night I did a spur of the moment Live to do a "Let Me Show You How" video. What did I show you? These ADORABLE wrapped popcorn gifts! I'm sure you've seen these either on line or at Craft Fairs - they're quite popular .. and SOOO quick and easy! These took all of 6 minutes each!

For supplies you need:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Basic White Cards Stock (a standard card base size!)

Scrap Black card stock

Scrap Pumpkin Pie card stock

White chalk marker or white gel pen

Black Stampin' Up! Marker

Oval die and scrap (not necessary but as you will see in the video tracing an oval die cut for the mouth is a great way to make the smile even)

Finger Dauber

Flirty Flamingo ink

Country Bouquet Punch (or any punch or die that is a leaf shape that looks like a bit like a carrot)

1/2" circle punch (or die)

Tear & Tape

Glue Dots

Liquid Glue

Package of Microwave Popcorn

One Pair of socks

Small elastics - I used Rainbow Loom elastics

MCM Layout - Nov 6, 2023

Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! I'm chipping away at my "yay-list", trying to get ahead of the game before heading off to Disneyland for a few days of fun with the family! I'll be "off the grid" for 6 full days (which I don't know if I've EVER done before!) so lot's to do!

#1 on my list was "blog the MCM projects" ... so here we are!

I've seen this version of the "Stack, Slice, Shuffle" method of making several cards in a short amount of time and thought it was time I tried it. I took my dimensions from US Demonstrator Mary Blocher to come up with these little cuties ...

They are just so easy, quick and cute! As always, the idea is for me to share an easy layout with you and you can use that as a "jump off" point. You can switch it up and embellish to your heart's content. I kepot it simple with my designs.

Here is the "recipe" of pieces you need ..

... and here is the video replay showing you how to cut the designer papers and put it all together ...

Wasn't that easy? .. and the beauty of this technique (if you can call it that) is that you don't have to stick to the 2" and 3" markers. You can cut your pieces anywhere you like! I love it :)
